Taylor’s research aims to create a database with a list of 25 native garden plants that are recommended and verified to be beneficial for pollinating insects in Quebec. Often in urban landscaping, exotic and ornamental species are used with low ecological value for local biodiversity. The findings will be shared on a new online platform that is intended to provide accessible tools and information on ecological landscaping for the public, professionals, and policymakers.
