Silvia in the Waves will have a twofold impact on the climate of social justice in the school, first as a work in progress and then as a cultural product with cinematographic value. As a film production, Silvia in the Waves will expose 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students in the film production program to inclusive casting, scriptwriting and team managing practices by holding a discussion panel in the facilities of TAG Concordia with the collaboration of the Women Filmmakers; Society in Montreal, and by putting front and center female, queer and racialized artists.
