With the goal of servicing our community with healthy alternatives to the mainstream fast food chains, The People’s Potato has also made a commitment to serve a nut-free, meat-free, dairy, and alcohol free meals. This is done in order to promote accessibility, regardless of food restrictions, whether religious or medical (allergens), so that almost anyone can eat a by donation lunch at The People’s Potato.

The goal of this project is to incorporate more wheat free grains and gluten-free foods into our food service. This would include an extra day per week to have a wheat free meal served twice a week. While making our meal more accessible to the student population, we would also like to challenge the Canadian wheat industry, which has incorporated wheat as a bulking agent in many of our foods.
