The goal of this project as it continues to expand, is to build an all-electric formula one style vehicle for the SAE International Collegiate Design Series with a focus on promoting sustainability. The purpose of the competition as a whole is to have teams design and manufacture a 100% electric vehicle that can outperform a formula one combustion vehicle by using an intricate electrical system that can replace the fuel-powered one. During the competition, the team will be judged by the design choices it has made in building the vehicle, the marketing possibilities stemming from it and the car’s performance in a series of dynamic events.
