The purpose of the project is to build an Electrical Formula vehicle for the SAE International Collegiate Design Series while promoting sustainability. The competition invites students to design and manufacture a single-seat race car, that is put through its paces in a similar way to the Combustion Formula, with the additional challenge building a complex electrical system. The team will be judged on design and marketability as well as dynamic events. The team is a new branch of Concordia SAE consisting of ambitious undergraduate students. We are looking to take on the challenge of creating and racing fully electric vehicles, a first in the history of Concordia University.
