The focus of the Cafe X Sustainability Awareness Project is to engage the consumer in the cycle of production. We’re designing a map of Montreal, complete with cartoon-ized pictures of the vendors that supply the food (chili, banana bread, etc) to the café, with cartoon-face & a blurb from the vendor placed in the neighbourhood where their food comes from.We will also be reorganizing the visuals inside EV Café X so it’s easy to see what’s what: menu (with a template for new items), wire & clothespin lines for art and sustainability announcements, & a pegboard art contest where people can use the backs of their receipts to draw a fun doodle & possibly be the winner of that week’s free coffee. Plus: the map!
