Contrary to the Eastern world, insects are an extremely overlooked food source in the West. The Insect Energy Bars Project aims to create at least one viable product (taste, flavor, aesthetics etc…) of an insect enriched energy bars, for on-sale distribution on Concordia campus during the new semester.

Insects can be used to enrich many common dishes from an oatmeal, fruit and mealworm breakfast, to enriched mealworm bread and other products. Furthermore, I will share my knowledge on cooking and consuming insects through various interactive campaigns/workshops across Concordia.
