This occasion brought together high-ranking experts in the aerospace and other relevant industries, as well as professors and students from the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering departments at Concordia University.
This is the 9th Networking dinner hosted by the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers (CSME) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) at Concordia University. For the first time since the event was created, the two societies had decided to incorporate a theme for the evening. In order to promote sustainability among future engineers, the theme of the dinner was “Sustainability and Engineering”. Throughout the evening, students will have the chance to speak with professionals and professors, and hear stories from industry or research. Along with this, a guest speaker was planned for the evening, focusing on sustainability in the engineering field.
